Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing a product strategy for the specific area. Represent the product to clients and to peers across the organization and obtain feedback on new feature ideas.
Reach out to clients for the product's feature, design and domain details. Present information about the product to stakeholders and senior management.
Engage with internal or external clients for requirements. Capture, document and present requirements.
Understand and provide inputs for the trade-offs in launching the feature. Successfully collaborate to resolve deadlocks and present feasible solutions. Drive an agreement on a solution and its adoption.
Facilitate technical discussion for the domain and provide feedback and inputs in the technical and architectural design.
Manage the expectation of internal and external clients by effectively prioritizing resources, work and negotiating product/project needs.
Lead the team to ideate, do POC and implement change to bring innovation in the product, grooming new technologies and presenting them to management.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Excellent communication skills and to be able to manage clients.
Exceptional presentation skills to clearly and concisely report on product status or performance to management and client stakeholders
Attention to detail and clarity of thought to be able to create product documentation and assist in the sales and pre-sales process
Solid product mindset to be able to coordinate between different functional teams that build, manage and support the product.
Understanding of software engineering concepts.
Sense of ownership: Extremely hands-on and do whatever it takes to meet client deliverables.
