Position: Sr. Manager/Director Operations, US
Reports to: VP
Location: Milpitas, CA
Job Description:
Responsible for deploying and managing the globally distributed network. This position will report to Director/VP Operations and serve as a key member of the team responsible for growing Aryaka’s business in the cloud-based WAN optimization ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the deployment and management of a large globally distributed network
- Day to day management of the team
- Defining and enforcing the procedures and policies to ensure 100% uptime
- Building the core networking team
- Helping with the overall network architecture and vendor management
Job Requirements:
- At least 7-10 years of experience in managing large distributed networks
- Experience in running large carrier grade networks on a 24×7 basis
- Must have experience managing globally distributed teams
- Experience in managing customer support teams is a plus
- Strong background in routing protocol and linux system administration
- Comfortable with scripting languages
- Experience in vendor management is a plus
